Hey there. It's me. That guy. You know the one who is shopping by himself, with a strangely content look. The guy who sings in traffic, looking like he doesn't have a care while in the midst of it. The one who holds the door open at the store for you, and then saunters off on his own errands, minding his own affairs. The man who strides confidently, broad shouldered, nice looking and fit, yet with a bit of humility. The man who is handsome, in a outdoorsy way, with a few grays and lines that distinguish him. You know that guy that you sneak a glance at, and wonder what he's like. And why does he appear pleased, in the middle of that crowded shopping line? Does he know something? Why is he smiling? Yes, that's me. I'm that guy who has weathered many storms, yet comes out better for the wear. The guy who has partaken in many things, yet has left the harmful ones behind. That man who has found that the truest riches don't come from getting what you want, but enjoying what you have, whether it's physical, material or spiritual. I am that man with nothing to prove to anyone, only to himself. Me again. I'm that guy who doesn't need anyone to complete me, because I found out none exists. I've found comfort in both in solitude or company. I am as comfortable in a mall as I am on a stormy mountaintop. And I have realized that no one has the key to my happiness I do. What I do have I am more than happy to share... I often wonder what it would be like to share this feeling with someone special to be in love again. To help each other climb the highest mountains, figuratively as well as metaphorically. To fully share triumphs as well as sorrows, and to be two people united in love. This is a hope that I cling to when I sleep at night. I do get a little lonely sometimes, but I don't tell anyone. Except you. This will be our secret. I'm not a religious fellow, but I do believe that God provides. And it is my solemn prayer that someday I have the chance to share
