I'm going to give this a try. I don't have a lot of ways to meet people and I'm not into the bar scene. I moved to Alaska in January for a job because this was the start of a new life for me. The last of my children left home last fall and it's time for this Mom to remember what it is like to be a Woman. I can guarantee you that you will never meet another woman life me. I am highly educated but not snobby. I moved to Alaska because I love all that the outdoors has to offer fishing, camping, kayaking, photography, biking, hiking, rafting, theater, concerts, festivals, etc. I've been able to dust off the snow and cross country skis and enjoy playing in the snow. I grew up on the water and it has never left my blood so my dream of living where the mountains touch the sea is now a reality. I know that attractiveness in is the eye of the beholder so here are some statistics about myself 48 years old but look about 10 years younger according to my coworkers, tall for a woman at 5'8 and HWP which to me mean not fat and not model thin. I have blondishbrown hair that is just above my shoulders and greenishbrown eyes. I've been divorced about 4 years after a 22 year marriage but have no exbaggage or hatred towards men. I'm a pretty happy person and think that screaming, yelling and hatred are wasted emotions. I am a Christian don't attend church every Sunday but my faith in God is important to me. My job is wonderful and, happily, recession proof. I do live in Juneau but I find myself in Anchorage at least once a month. Life is good for me. I'm seeking someone that has worked hard to get where he is in life just like I have. I'm looking to share my life with someone and not live separate lives under one roof hope that makes sense to you. I am not looking to take care of a man and I can certainly take care of myself, but a relationship does eventually mean the melding of each other in supportive roles of the other.
